About Nihongo no Jikan
にほんごのじかん (Nihongo no Jikan) is a place where you can relax and enjoy learning Japanese through comprehensible input.
Comprehensible input is the idea that language is best acquired when you understand messages—what you hear or read.
Instead of memorizing grammar rules or vocabulary, or translating everything into your native language, you acquire language naturally by being exposed to Japanese that is understandable to you.
In my videos, I focus on making Japanese easy to understand by using simple language, visual support such as images and gestures, rephrasing, and clear context, so you can follow along without relying on translation.
My videos are designed for all levels, from Complete Beginner to Advanced, and cover a wide range of topics and formats, including Japanese culture, everyday life, folktales, gameplay, quizzes, vlogs, cooking, and more.
On this site, you can search for videos by level and topic, so you can easily find content that matches your level and interests.

About Me
I’m Yuki, and I live in Fukuoka, Japan, with my husband and our two children.
I have always been interested in language learning, and I started creating comprehensible input videos for Japanese learners in 2021.
I am currently studying English, Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese Sign Language.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, traveling, and cheering for my son at his baseball games.
I’m happy to be part of your Japanese learning journey!

にほんごのじかんについて
にほんごのじかんは、Comprehensible Input（理解できるインプット）を通して、リラックスしながら楽しく日本語を学べる場です。
Comprehensible Inputとは、「理解できるメッセージにたくさん触れることで、言語は自然に身につく」という考え方です。
文法や単語を暗記したり、母語に翻訳したりするのではなく、自分にとって理解可能な日本語をたくさん聞いたり読んだりすることで、自然に日本語を習得していきます。
私の動画では、簡単な日本語を使ったり、画像やジェスチャーを見せたり、言い換えをしたりしながら、皆さんが翻訳に頼らなくても自然に理解できるよう工夫しています。
動画は入門から上級まで、すべてのレベルの学習者向けに作っています。日本文化や日常生活、昔話、ゲーム実況、クイズ、Vlog、料理など、さまざまなテーマや形式の動画があります。
このサイトでは、レベルやトピックごとに動画を検索できるので、自分のレベルや興味に合ったコンテンツを簡単に見つけることができます。

私について
こんにちは、ゆきです。日本の福岡県で、夫と2人の子どもと一緒に暮らしています。
もともと語学学習が好きで、2021年から日本語学習者向けのComprehensible Input動画を作り始めました。
現在は英語、韓国語、中国語、日本手話を勉強しています。
趣味は読書、散歩、旅行、そして息子の野球の応援です。
